This place is a gem, a very good find, off the beaten path so to speak. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff and had no problem navigating their menu to make my selections. The nachos and pupusas were on point and they had some authentic Mexican drink choices that made the experience complete. After eating I was so pleased I ordered a carne asada plate, to go, for lunch the next day.
I will definitely be going back whenever my travels find me back in Pauls Valley! -

Norma's is not a place to stop in as you drive by, although that's not a bad idea. Norma's is a destination. Pauls Valley, you ought to take care of this place, patronize it. This Salvadoran restaurant could become a hub of Central and Mexican American cuisine in southern Oklahoma. The tamales. Let me talk about the tamales. Beyond a doubt, the best I've ever eaten and I'm always on the look out for good ones, and I'm always disappointed, until now, that is. The Masa flour is not just a wrapper for these babies, it is a reason for their deliciousness, moist and delicately flavored, all hand-made in the kitchen. The chicken inside (my choice) juicy and beautifully spiced. The pupusas were delicious as well. I went there with 6 other family members and we feasted for less than $50.00. That's a bargain in my book. If I didn't live in Florida I'd have tamales for lunch tomorrow. If distance is not a hindrance to you, get in your car. Now.

I ate a Norma's brick and mortar restaurant. From the exterior I thought it was a burger joint. The service was very good and friendly. Made me feel very welcome. The beans were some of the best I've ate. They so flavorful but the consistency was pretty thin. Hard to eat with a fork. Same with the salsa, very thin and pasty. However the papusa was the star of my meal! Very good!

Who would have never guessed the best street tacos could be found right in Pauls Valley!
Have had most of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Make sure to have yourself a chicken and beef taco. -

This is my absolute favorite place in town to eat at! Everything on the menu is wonderful and is always consistently the same. They are nice people and it's so cool and fun when they do the triva questions to win a taco. If you haven't had their puposa with slaw then you're seriously missing out!!
